Safe Harbor for Rescue Dogs:
Fathom K9 recognizes the need for training, as a vital step, in the rescue dog adoption process. Our team is dedicated to helping rescues and shelters reach their goals for dogs in their facilities. The primary goal of our Safe Harbor program is to prepare displaced dogs for adoption through obedience and socialization training so they will successfully transition into their adopted families' home.
Training goals for each dog are selected to provide a dog his or her best chance at transitioning successfully into their adopted home. Our selected goals aim at improving a dog's overall confidence, health, socialization, manners, and over all quality of life.
Once a dog is adopted, Fathom K9, educates his or her new family on how to grow a relationship built on structure, leadership, and love.

Revel is a great dog who is fun & energetic! Our team barely got him out of the shelter alive. He learns quickly and his training is coming along nicely. He is a social dog but will do best in a family with older kids.
