Samantha Ashby
OWNER/CERTIFIED TRAINER
Samantha Ashby has gained years of hands on experience in many facets of dog training. She acquired a professional certification from National K9 in Columbus, Ohio. She has also been an instructor for several obedience & behavior and scent detection courses. Her career began by training police/military dogs and educating their handlers in the disciplines of scent detection and tracking. Her main focus over the years has been educating dog owners on how to solve their dogs' specific behavioral concerns. She is dedicated to using her knowledge and experience to help clients enhance their relationship and bond with their dogs. Her personal pack consists of two German Shepherds and a rescue , mixed breed.
Simms Wilbanks
OWNER/CERTIFIED TRAINER
Simms Wilbanks has been working with dogs since she was in high school as a kennel technician. She earned the Professional Certified Trainer certification from National K9 where she learned about many facets of dog training. She has experience training police K9s and handlers in trailing and detection. She and her Belgium Malinois, Czabin, are certified in explosives detection and work at Charleston Port Authority. Czabin is also recognized as the bat dog for Charleston's baseball team, The Riverdogs.
Lauren Daylami
CERTIFIED TRAINER
Lauren Daylami has been working with dogs since the age of fifteen starting out as an Assistant in a veterinary hospital. Her interest in training grew throughout college while shadowing a hunting dog trainer and continued after completing graduate school at The Citadel in Charleston. She began working with military and police K9s and handlers in trailing and detection. As a result of this style of training, she developed a passion for obedience and behavior. Her hobbies include participating in dock diving competitions with her Labrador Retriever, Calhoun.
Michelle Scott
CERTIFIED TRAINER
Michelle Scott has over 30 years of experience working with dogs and is committed to saving abandoned dogs. Michelle performs dog evaluations for rescues, counsels potential adopters, and opens her home to foster dogs. She enjoys assisting owners and their dogs in order to establish a healthy relationship that promotes bonding through obedience training. Her goal is to provide solutions for behavioral issues in order to prevent dogs from being re-homed. Her own pack is made up of Akitas, Malinois/German Shepherds, and an opinionated Bloodhound Mix.
Hunter Tinsley
CERTIFIED TRAINER
Hunter Tinsley has been working with animals his entire life. He grew up competing in equestrian sports and has always had a strong connection to animals. He started his career in the canine industry in 2018 managing a daycare and boarding facility. This experience gave him a broad view of several different breeds and personalities which sparked his interest in dog training. He enjoys training and competing in dog sports such as scent work, agility, and rally. Hunter enjoys sharing his passion for dog sports and strongly believes in creating a solid relationship between dog and handler. He has one dog, Otto, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
